So was there anything that you found displeasing in the story?
-Halo 2's ending
-Halo 3's abundance of plot holes

Umm, what? No. I'm talking about things like how High Charity was able to fit through a portal that it's too big for, or why Miranda Keyes crashed the Pelican through the window instead of using the on-board weaponry. There are a lot more.

The second one is more bad writing than a plot hole. Her dual wielding a shotgun and magnum breaks canopy because chief can't do it. Also aren't there different kinds of pelicans that don't have weapons and are solely for transport like the warthogs? It could have been one.

Turns out High Charity was teleported to the Ark by a Forerunner machine running on Mars and I don't believe that Pelican model had any on-board weapons. Except the turret, but she can't exactly operate a back turret while piloting. :P

She didn't fire anything during the fight with the Scarab and I can't see where else she'd have used those weapons since the AA Wraiths were all destroyed. This is something that really should have been covered. It's clear from her actions that she went into the control room to save Johnson which is downright moronic when there's several Brutes protecting Truth who is about to fire the rings.
