When I saw that literally everyone was losing their shit about the "brand new Halo!" "From the producers that brought you: Halo Anniversary!" "We know what you really want!" "We're made up of all the [i]good[/i] Bungie employees!" "We didn't make Reach!" Yay, when I heard people legitimately praising 343 for these reasons, I could already tell that no one was actually looking at the game. It didn't matter what 343 delivered, the community was building their own ideas about what the next Halo was going to be like.
