Scenario: Everyone in the world is now very good/moral/ethical.
Capitalism is the best choice

Communism is the best choice

So the whole world is now good. Immorality is virtually unknown and every reason why people can't have nice things is gone. All the governments in the world must now decide what is best for the people. Should we have a capitalist society? The rich CEOs will not be greedy and will have the good of society/environment in mind when making business decisions. Or should we have a communist society? The people work for the good of the people as opposed the good of themselves as individuals.
EDIT: All of you that thinks morality is subject can go -blam!- yourselves. Please become a divine command theorist/moral realist/etc. for the sake of this thread.

If we lived in a world free of corruption and immorality, communism would still be inferior to capitalism. Under Capitalism competition creates better technology and innovation. Not to mention I have the power of free choice in the market. Regardless of good intentions, I still want the power to buy whatever I cereal I want and not what the government tells me what cereal I'm going to get.
