Odd story really. I owned a Nintendo DS, but I thought the system was capable of more than what I was getting out of it. For instance, I thought it'd be great if I could watch movies on it (my school commute was an hour and a half long bus ride, and I had to find ways to fill in the time), and after some research I found out I could, via a flash card - a means of launching unofficial software, such as video and music players. Now, the video files had to be specially encoded in order for the DS to recognise them, and it just so happens that the people that encode and upload movies in a DS friendly format are huge anime junkies. That's how I discovered anime, by pirating movies and watching them on my DS... (:- 0
I'm a terrible person ;-;
The Big O.
Now I've seen over 350 anime, keep track of about 50 manga still being published, and successfully keep my inner-weeb hidden from society. No one in my family has any idea, and I plan to keep it that way.
I used to watch it every time after school, back in 2003 - 2006.
I still watch it today, occasionally. I would probably still be watching it, regularly, if the English dubbed series wouldn't have been cancelled, forcing me to adapt to the German dubbed series. I find it hard to adapt, since I've watched 130 episodes in English before switching to German. I don't know what I'll do when I run out of German episodes ( 300 + ). I just hate listening to the Japanese screaming.
