If you are doing a public event on a distorted planet, pls try to make it heroic
I’m trying to farm for some tier 5’s from heroic public events and noticed quite a lot of players don’t try to make it heroic.
Maybe they don’t know how to, which is fair enough.
You get tier 5 drops from heroic, so please try to help make them heroic.
Most can be made heroic by 1 person who knows, so it doesn’t really matter.
But the Taken Blight one, where you need to step inside the small blights to get the buff to destroy the big blight. So many times, people just rush in break the small blights.
Ramble over, good luck farmin
Edit: sorry I should had mentioned that I was farming for destination weapons. GLHF

2 回覆Kills me when I see people that are 10 and 11 guardian ranks doing it. I feel like I'm racing them to take down the big blight before they clear the inside.

4 回覆I've barely touched Distortions because the idea of farming Publis Events in 2026 never appealed to me. But I can't believe we're back to the age where blueberries don't make Events Heroic just because it's faster.

Taken blight can be sent heroic before the randoms can kill the blights if you do this :- Take Wardcliff Coil as your heavy and any primary and energy you like. Kill the first blight and move to second spawn. Once the blights spawn, go for the big blight with your Wardcliff. 2 shots should take it down. Enjoy the heroic loot. HTH.

3 回覆Was talking to a buddy of mine apparently it's a misconception that destroying the blights is the way to make it heroic and that sometimes it just doesn't work at least that's how the newer players are understanding the event... And newer.. or super casual players aren't going to look it up either... when in actuality the players that know what they're doing are racing against them by doing it right over wrong... what a nightmare...

4 回覆Then they leave for the next public event and leave the distortion event with few to one player. Those are the events you get the distortion focused weapon from.

1 回覆Yeah the distortion weapons are meh at best and all my god rolls for each just sit in the vault to rot. I'm for the destination god rolls 👍.

If there’s a skill issue (not judging) or you want to be more efficient, you can run them in duos & trios only sacrificing exotic drops. Edit: just glanced your profile, you’re more than capable of repeating master solo lost sectors in quick succession. Just do that. Edit 2: some little birdies told me they don’t drop weapons.
