cross save account authentication error
hi bungie, i need guidance on properly repairing my crosssave. while trying to setup a second account access to move my account from steam to xbox my website crashed and while loggin back in found that the cross save had automatically input the wrong microsoft account of which i no longer have acess. the second account is not authenticated and has no data attatched to it as it has never been accessed.
is there a way to remove the wrongfully input xbox account since it has not been authenticated so that i might put the correct account information in?

Your screenshot below showing the account ready to be authenticated [b]again[/b] to activate cross-save, this means you authenticated it to begin with in order to initially link it to your account.You will not be able to unlink the Xbox account due to the [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]March 25th 2025 linking change[/url] and Bungie are not offering any exceptions to the policy. Your only option for playing on Xbox using your characters will be to use the account you have already linked.
