I will continue to remind you, Bungie, that there were some older favorite weapons back in the day that players would love to get their hands on (mainly speaking for myself... VALAKADYN, Bungie). I keep suggesting to add them to Xur or allow them to be drops in Dares of Eternity. I'm not sure about the weekend Xur idea all too much anymore, but I still see potential for Dares of Eternity. There's obviously a big chunk of loot already in Dares of Eternity that gets rotated around and trying to get a specific drop is difficult as it is. And with that, I came up with another idea based on already explored mechanics. The main mechanic being Attunement. Here's how I see it. Think about Banshee's assortment of weapons that he sells every week or Xur's weapons every weekend. Have Xur or Starhorse's vendor menus back at the Treasurehold present weapons that are randomly chosen just like how Banshee and weekend Xur's inventories work every week and include the older, unobtainable Forsaken and Shadowkeep gear as possible gear that can show up. Selecting a weapon on that menu will Attune to it, making it more likely to drop from Dares of Eternity completions. That is literally all of the idea. It's like yes, it would be a bloated pool of weapons. Weekend Xur already has that going on with him and that's fine. At least Attunement would allow players to pursue the weapons they're looking for easier if it is one of the available weapons that week. And I'll keep stretching this point. That older gear is still in the game. Why let it go to waste? You can continue to make new gear for the Portal, but why not bring back the old too? I would enjoy getting back into using some of that older gear. plus i have ornaments for some of those weapons
