It's so -blam!- the brigs cannot compete against the tanks you literally cannot hit the tanks unless you pre fire like that's not how aiming should work I should shoot when my reticle is on the tank not before it's moved it's -blam!-

由DieselBaddAss編輯: 5/13/2025 4:12:43 AMI report a couple of players. No way they were making their shots on target in Heavy Metal. This is just a bandaid for Destiny 2 going down like the Celtics on tonight's game. Such a shame Bungie desperate trying to keep us entertain until next DLC. Update: I bought Silver to get to rank 15.

It's an Atari game with just better graphics. I hit dead on and no damage is done sometimes.

At least when you bought a video game in the 90’s you got the whole finished game, none of this half finished bs that modern gaming has turned into.

Absolutely trash. The worst cheating I have ever seen. Even worse than when trials hit PC day 1.

由DcellDave編輯: 5/11/2025 12:45:07 PMWhoever came up with the idea that a tank hitting a brig in the legs would blow up the tank never drove a tracked vehicle. The tank is a slow moving brick; how do you hurt a brick? Tanks were a development from bulldozers - i.e., they are designed to push things without taking damage. The legs of a brig are it's weakest point; the legs are fragile compared to the rest of it. Since the tank turret turns so slowly, and the rockets themselves travel like molasses in January, a brig has the advantage of being able to casually walk away from the shot. What a joke.

There's a reason the industry abandoned look-direction-based vehicle controls for turreted vehicles; it makes the vehicles control like trash. The tanks especially get caught on tiny ridges because Bungo picked the single worst possible environment for this game mode. Both vehicles feel completely handicapped from campaign/NPC veriants. The daily challenges seem optimised to make you spend and buy reroll tokens (play games as one specifc side and kill the enemy leader spring furthest to mind); in fact the entire thing feels designed to maximise grind. I like that Bungie is trying new things, but this mode really brings into focus how far behind the industry they are in combat vehicle tech.
