Hello there,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us. In order to change your username, you will need a Name Change Token. Sadly, we do not grant additional name change tokens through the forums, though from time-to-time, we may provide more through the game itself. You can read up more about our name creation and changing process by clicking on this link.

When I click the link it clearly states and I quote “Players have a limited number of Name Change tokens”, token(s) would imply multiple name changes. In this case I only had one. I also have no way to access a name change “through the game itself”. I do not mean to sound rude, however I do believe there is a language issue in that writing.

由viiTactiiCZz編輯: 3/14/2025 5:06:53 AMWhen you go to the identity page to change your name do you see 'You can only change your Bungie Name one time.' like this: https://i.imgur.com/mhHXlQS.png Or does it say 'You do not have any name changes available' like this: https://i.imgur.com/6b2IJNF.png If its the former then its an outdated piece of text but you do have a token.

If you see the 'You can only change your Bungie Name one time.' text, then you have at least one more name change token remaining (potentially 2 but if you've had a forced name change that can use one/multiple of your tokens), it changes to 'You do not have any name changes available' once you've used them all. There is a bug that has wiped tokens from players, so some people will be seeing this currently regardless of them using their tokens or not.

It would be the latter of “You do not have any name changes available”. It’s not that I never changed my name (almost 3 years ago now) but I was never given another token despite them rewarding them fairly recently due to a bug. I also don’t think that the usage of “tokens” on the name change guide is used properly. Adding an “s” to that would imply plurality.
