The only issue is that you didn't get it; if you had, you wouldn't have said a damn thing.

The issue is that it punished people who farmed for the weapon right as it came out. Not all of the people who farmed for a God roll got one And now there's one available to people who didn't try farming for one earlier, but not the people who did. Which would feel genuinely awful if you farmed one for two weeks and didn't get it, but then log in and see that there's one available, but you can't get it because you played the content as it came out. Simple fix is to give us a page to purchase already claimed rank up rewards for the price of the weapon.

I grabbed the rank 4 weapon and I only played Iron Banner just to grab it then stopped playing, I still think its silly they put static rotating rolls on rank rewards and I could play like 3-4 games and get the god roll. They should be replaced with a randomly rolled drop instead and static rotating rolls should be moved to the focusing menu but cost more to focus due to it guaranteeing a specific roll.

You’re confusing jealousy with frustration. The frustration at having grinded out match after match and not get what they want only for the god roll to show up where their time and effort actually works against them and prevents them from obtaining it. Putting time and effort into the game should never work against you because it puts you off doing it the next time. That’s just basic common sense.

You're stating the obvious. It's clearly jealousy because, to chase the roll I wanted for the sidearm, I reset three times without success. And then someone who plays three matches gets a better roll than mine. Envy is the core of the discussion. But so is the unfairness of the time I wasted in a specific playlist.

This response doesn’t make sense to me. Why do you interpret my message as an attack on the community? It’s exactly the opposite. I’m happy (jealous, but happy) that people who play little this week can get a very powerful weapon. I wish I had the same opportunity, but my rank 4 reward was a useless roll. During the first week of IR, the hunt for Tinasha’s Mastery created some really engaging gameplay, with everyone chasing the perfect roll. Now, instead, three matches are enough, and IR completely loses its meaning. Do you really think this was Bungie’s ultimate goal? To make it so you can play for half an hour and get a god roll weapon in a two-week event? Honestly, I think it’s a misjudgment. But feel free to tell me what you think.
