How am I jealous? OP is right. Its wrong to punish your players by reward gating because they were dedicated players. Doesn’t incentivize dedication. If anything, this method encourages people to play less. Stay on your knees

You have to feel sorry for people who went grinding for a roll they couldn't get to drop, and then find themselves locked out of the roll they may want. It let's players jump in and get a decent roll easy enough... but it's a slap in the face to the rng victims first time around (let's be honest, no-one knew this roll was coming so a bad choice is a funny way to sum it up). I got lucky and have 2 decent chill clip rolls... loose change, air trigger and deconstruct are all good!! But, this isn't the case for everyone.

I don't have the gun; I haven't played Destiny since October. In my infinite wisdom, I chose to get away from grinding in this game and started playing FF VII Rebirth/Remake instead. Imagine just how silly I feel right now. 😕
