Hey there, this is not something Bungie offers. Just to make totally sure, if you're entering your old name into the name change box, and this is not being accepted, it means the old name is not being allowed by the name filter, I've heard this is often the case for a user's former names. However it is also proof that you do have name changes available; players who have no name changes available will not even be able to enter a new name, and it will say 'no name changes available' below the text box. Are you or are you not able to enter a new name? If you do have name changes, you'd can at least go with something else.
