Ikora says it this week when you talk to her about failsafe's plan. Also, all of them talk about it in convos at the end of the battlegrounds. I've heard ikora/Saint and ikora/Osiris talk about it.

What are you talking about? When confronted, Osiris said when looking in different times, he made sure to look for saints that were as close to ours as possible. We went back to save him before he did but the Forest doesn’t exist in normal space time, hence why the dead Saint still exists there.
