All signs have been showing what the conductor told Saint is true: he's not this timeline Saint.
But let's say what you are saying is true, it doesn't explain ikora, Osiris, and failsafe all saying the same. Conductor altering them too? Of course not.

Osiris said it when they had their argument. When he talked about what saints he targeted when looking into other timelines. Failsafe said it then too. Ikora says it this week when you talk to her about failsafe's plan. Also, all of them talk about it in convos at the end of the battlegrounds. I've heard ikora/Saint and ikora/Osiris talk about it.

Osiris didn’t confirm anything, he doesn’t know then he made excuses as to why there wouldn’t be a difference. Same with Failsafe and Ikora, though they didn’t say he is either. They are just going off what Saint is saying, he says the Conductor told him he is a simulation and remembers things differently, therefore he must be a simulation. It’s all predicated on his memories. Which didn’t become an issue until after he got controlled by the Conductor.

What are you talking about? When confronted, Osiris said when looking in different times, he made sure to look for saints that were as close to ours as possible. Those were the words, nothing about he doesn't know, making excuses, none of that. Failsafe second that Saint was as close to ours as possible. Ikora said to get the data failsafe needs for her plan, a plan only her and ikora know about, that we need the mind of our Saint, that's dead. You can't get more direct than that lol. Saint isn't a simulation, he's just not our timeline's saint. That's it. That's what the conductor told him. He's said the same, that this isn't his time. Nothing about him not being real. Him not being our Saint was always a thing since we rescued him. It was just never the focus nor talked about cause we had so much going on. Now that it's the focus, we are getting direct answers. All the conductor did was spark the question.

由MC 077 Lasombra編輯: 7/27/2024 6:51:16 PMAnd yet it wasn’t Osiris who saved him, nor did he pick a timeline for us to go to. We followed a timestamp built into Perfect Paradox through the Corridors. We went into the past and saved him when he was young and then again in the Forest. So when you suggest he is from another timeline, the facts disagree. As we have verifiable proof we time traveled back in our timeline. That’s how he got the shotgun and that’s how the younger timestamp was made. No, the conductor called him a copy of a copy of a copy and Saint said himself he came from a simulation. So why are you disagreeing with Saint when you cite Ikora as impeccable truth? Cherry picking? Ikora also called Savathun Osiris when she was disguised as him. Was that 100% true then? You’re acting like NPCs are never wrong and that’s been proven wrong in nearly every story for the past few years.

It was Osiris who built the dial, told us how to navigate it to find Saint, and gave us hints about which way to go to start. How else would we have even known about the perfect paradox? Or do you think we're just doing everything on our own? Lol no. Actually, the facts show this Saint from another time. Even if the time is our past, it still is another Saint. The Saint in our time died before we existed. How else are we about to go to a dead saint? Yes, the conductor did say that, but also said he wasn't from this time. Seems you are cherry picking lol. Saint called him Osiris too, hell everyone did until the truth came out, so your point? Since you bring up savathun, this is just like that. We didn't know she was Osiris until the reveal. All the lore, characters, story, etc in game made it seem like that was our Osiris. I think the same has happened here. We were lead to think this was our Saint until we find out it's not. The conductor just pulled a savathun.

由MC 077 Lasombra編輯: 7/27/2024 8:07:14 PMOsiris couldn’t find him that’s why he shut it down. We’ve had perfect paradox since D1, long before Dawn. We navigated and found Saint because Osiris couldn’t. So how did he guide us when we followed the two timestamps on the gun we owned? The gun was our guide. All Osiris did was focus on fixing the broken time, with the obelisks and stuff. We did the rest. You’re attributing our success to someone who literally failed and stopped trying. Hilarious. I didn’t cherry pick any line, I pointed contradictions. Since I’m not buying either, I’m not picking anything lol My point is NPCs can say something and be wrong. You’re the only citing her like she can’t be wrong. So you just admitted NPCs, including Ikora, can be wrong. Did Ikora say how she knows? No. All we know is that Saint has said his memories don’t match Osiris. And just like Savathun disguised, we were presented with Osiris being legit then finding out later he wasn’t. So we are presented with Saint being fake then learn it was a ruse. It’s an inverted Savathun ruse instead of a rerun. We went back in our timeline and saved Saint when we was young. We went back to save him before he did but the Forest doesn’t exist in normal space time, hence why the dead Saint still exists there. This is what we did ————-<=========>——— The single line is the timeline. We went into the Forest (<) and altered events making two Saints within the Forest (==) one died inside and one left (>) back into normal space time. Both are original and one is dead. Thus allowing only one original to exist at any one time in the timeline. Perfect Paradox. That’s why Osiris designed the Sundial to save him while inside the Forest and not outside of it. It being outside of space time allowed for manipulation. But as time was broken, we managed to go to his younger past by “mistake” but as it turns out that mistake is what allowed Saint to live long enough to die in the Forest. Perfect Paradox

I know we had it in d1. What I'm saying is we never met Saint in our time. The time we play in the game as us since being found by ghost, Saint was dead before we were found. So it makes no sense he had our gun from this time, and that this is the same Saint. It's the same as the stranger and her dark future. That's another time compared to this time we are playing now, which she has said. I'm not crediting our success to him, just pointing out that he helped. Yes, he couldn't go get Saint himself cause he not us, but he did help show the way. Which he probably learned by going to different times and seeing what we could do. Ikora saying we have to go get the head of our timeline's dead Saint says she knows lol. Yes, he said their memories don't match. If they were from the same time, shouldn't they match? I think we are in for the same thing, we'll see in the coming weeks. Going by your words: we broke time, created a Saint, but it's still our Saint. Lol ok. Like I said, we'll see in the coming weeks.

That’s how time travel works, the people in the past are affected by a future that hasn’t happened yet. That’s obvious and the fact you don’t get it shows why you don’t understand what happened. Do you not know what Paradox means either? No, the Dark Future lorebook says the timeline is reset to a specific point and she starts over from there, with the knowledge she’s gained through the loops. She doesn’t go back, change something and then leave for the present. So not comparable. Again, showing you don’t pay attention and/or don’t understand. Remember, Saint and Osiris both confirmed that Younger Saint said he met a Guardian who inspired him and we did exactly that. That confirms we time traveled back and explains how the Perferct Paradox exchanges hands. We didn’t make a new one, it’s the premise of schrodinger's cat. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schrödinger%27s_cat We didn’t make a new one, we altered his future but that didn’t erase the dead one because the Forest has compartmentalized domains. Simulations are separated in the Forest. We know that cause when we travel between them we have to use a gate and so does Osiris, though he makes his own with that device we saw in the opening Curse scene. What are simulations? Simulations are enclosed areas with their own timelines, running a setup event to see how it plays out. That’s why we sims of the past, present and future. And the place where Dead Saint is not the same place as where we saved him. I didn’t say we broke time or made a new Saint, that’s your rewording what I said in order to fit your idea. What a stupid thing to do. Yup, we shall see.

由whateverman7編輯: 7/28/2024 3:48:06 PMNow you know exactly how time travel works lol. Aight man. Now i don't know the meaning of words nor understand what's happening in game cause i disagree with your opinion? Lol it's always funny how the community goes straight to insults when someone disagrees. By the way: you did say we broke time, that's why I said it exactly how I did. I see you edited your post and changed the wording. But whatever we'll see how it turns out.

Same principle: one walks in, one walks out, just the dead one is also real due to the rules of the Forest. But yeah, I can actually show you lore wise where I get my some of my details from. And the Vex having mind and Exo influence have a single lore link below that you can read for yourself down below. It works by having isolated timelines in simulated spaces. That’s how they would work in order to move independently across the millions+ simulations running concurrently, as explained in Curse of Osiris. As these are physical spaces, as we see when we go into them. Isolated by Vex gate/space magic only, ie no physical entrance. Curse, Dawn, Halloween, etc. How did we get into it? Vex gate only, so again, using facts. Curse, Dawn, Halloween, Undying, Years of gameplay. It’s why Osiris thought saving him inside the Forest was the only way to make it work and looked for that particular instance, Per Osiris in Dawn. Pulling a simulation out is easy. They can escape through a normal gate on their own, that was in Dawn too. Besides, the Vex having a physical presence inside being able to affect human minds and machine bodies is literally spelled out in lore. https://www.ishtar-collective.net/records/clovis-brays-logbook-missing-pages Have a read and then tell me what you think. They manipulated Clovis Bray so badly he thought they were even his inner monologue for who knows how long. They hacked his robots and Exo Frames. Saint-14 is a human mind in an Exo Frame, so it’s entirely plausible because it’s happened.
