I'm disabled and my son recently moved in with me to assist my my daily activities. With that out of the way, I finally convinced him to get Destiny 2 so we could play together. On the first day, I stressed to him how important it was that we get him an Apex rocket launcher crafted. So we did all but one of the Wish Token quests. The remaining quest will reward 2 tokens for doing the dungeon. He purchased 5 red borders. I think it was 5. I told him to get the pattern, you can just delete the weapon for pattern progress. After deleting 3, I noticed no progress was given, so I immediately stopped him. I had him go into weapon details and unlock the pattern, and for the last 2, it worked. Now, when I check pattern progress under collections, it only shows 2 of 5. My son and I are so upset that he almost doesn't want to play anymore. What can we do other than farm the raid for more red borders. This really stinks. We were both so excited that he was about to get the "best" legendary rocket in the game. 😞
