It's been a while since I've gotten onto this game that has helped shape me into the person I am, and it was the connection I and my father shared as I grew up through D1 and D2. Now. About 3 years ago he passed away, and the game lost its appeal - no longer did I have a connection to the game that provided our guardians with all the best gear with all the best rolls, or a person to talk to about the last raid I went on and how I was trying to become a raid leader like him. It's drifted away into an outer ring of my thoughts, and I've always tried to keep tabs on it and what was happening, but from afar. I recently saw the new trailer for The Final Shape though. I knew I had to return for this last DLC in the Destiny franchise to honor my Dad and his unending love for this game, and its story. Now - I didn't just make this post to just announce this. I have no idea what I'm getting back into in the destiny world really and was hoping to find a little bit of advice on how to get back into this game. The last time I played was right after The Witch Queen - all my guardians are light level 1600 for reference, and I have a vault filled to the brim with, what I'm sure is now underpowered in today's game, god roll weapons, and upgraded armor.
