SBMM ruined PvP/ IT should be CBMM hands down. The only SBMM mode should be comp and it should be light SBMM and more rank based. You forgot to mention the huge accuracy cones they gave bows this season and igneous hammer able to hit headshots when you miss the head by 0.5 meter. Titans are still busted and they will still be busted after next week's nerf. On PC, the majority of MnK players are tired of the extreme levels of reticle stick they give controllers. Flinch levels arent the same between inputs. And cross-play has caused huge latency issues when someone brings a console player into the lobby.
I am also a firm believer that high levels of resilience should cause your movement speed to slow down. If you get damage reduction and flinch resistance then there should be an effect to the cause. Movement speed should give you actual movement speed rather than a strafe speed increase. Hunters are supposed to be the fastest class and Strand is the only thing that gives it to them.
There should be no skill based in comp, why should you be playing people outside of your rank. Over time each rank will adopt a skill level, which acts as skill based while also having all the people being in the same rank.
They need something other than CBMM. CBMM made Control the sweatiest game mode in the entire game for years you had better luck playing Comp at the time as it was way less sweaty only downside was comp rewards were like half of what control gave.
It was maybe sweaty for you because you played people better than you. It is sweaty for me now and it isn't fun. Its just titans, immortals, bows, and ability spam nades. If i wanted to try using a 180 HC for fun or try a side arm that is meant for controller i would have fun. Otherwise, I'm stuck using a broken meta because 4/6 players on the other team have something broken. I am just waiting for the Thorn catalyst to come and watching every player burn out when 6 people are all running it.
"Sweaty for you" I wanna point out the reason bungie swapped it was because it was too sweaty for a majority with most matches being a mercy and basically every match being so unbalanced that they could determine who would win based off of nothing but the first kill I believe they said and it was accurate essentially 100% of the time. This is why they brought back SBMM but then the higher players complained their matches were sweaty so they loosened it so it now allows any skill of player to match any skill of player with only your win/loss ratio mattering to the matchmaking.
