Deleted characters cannot be restored no matter what. Your characters are gone forever. You are fully responsible for your account at all times. I highly recommend you review your security and add as much as possible. Just having a password is not enough, no matter how many characters long it is.

Your characters are gone forever, that is the official policy and it has never changed. Bungie will not make an expection for you. If they did, they would have to do it for everyone else. Bungie fully investigated that claim and found the individual made it up. Bungie has stated numerous times that they would never be able to do that again due to how complicated and long the process is. Your characters are gone. In the future, make sure you have as much security as possible. Account security is your responsibility. Sorry for the bad news. -
My account was heavily secured, but they were still able to do it, and they were able to do it regardless of how complicated they claimed it was. They are still able to do it. It also doesn't hurt to at least try and see. You are not an admin or work for Bungie so I appreciate you taking the time to tell me the policies I have already read. I am waiting to hear from them. They also changed my name on my account so to even change that I would have to pay to change it and again shouldn't have to considering I didn't do it and it was hacked. So please have a nice day.

"Deleted characters [b]cannot[/b] be restored." - That is the official policy and it has not changed since Destiny 1 day 1. There are zero exceptions to this policy. [quote].
