Bungie, if this behavior is by design, then that is pretty unfortunate. I have one of each character type. On my Hunter, I purchased all Grenades, both Aspects, and all but one Fragment. One fragment costs 200 Strand Meditations My thought was, if I don't buy every last Fragment, I can run a full Strand build on my Hunter and stock back up to 1500 Strand Meditations to spend on my other classes. Then I'd buy the Aspects, Grenades, and Fragments on my Titan and Warlock. I've tested this out. While running Strand on my Hunter, and I'm between 0 and 200 Strand Meditations, the following activities and actions reliably drop Strand Meditations: • High Value Target chests (~7 - 10 SM) • Patrols on Neomuna (~7 SM) • Heroic Patrols on Neomuna (25 SM) • Public Events on Neomuna (25 SM) • Heroic Public Events on Neomuna (30 SM) • Defeating enemies with Strand abilities & Super in the Vex Incursion Zone on Neomuna (single-digit drops of green motes, from 1 to 8 SM) • Opening the Terminal Overload Bonus chest with a Terminal Overload Key (100 SM) As soon as I get more than 200 Strand Meditations, they stop dropping. Nothing from Strand ability and Super kills. nothing from the aforementioned Neomuna Activities. To test, I've opened a few Terminal Overload Bonus chests and received ZERO Strand Meditations. Repeatedly. From something that [i]reliably[/i] drops 100 Strand Meditations when I'm below 200.
