So the new mod system, is very different, things I like, things I don't like. I like the elemental loaders or reserves, the heavy finders for all heavys and the ability to share it. But getting rid of mods that add or remove stat's was just a bad idea, they gave us so many more options, and it's especially bad for hunter players. To be more useful then a wet noodle, we need to build up Mobility, Resilience, Recovery, and then depending on what your focus is, Intellect, Discipline and Strength. For example, a invisibility build, so i try to get Mobility, Resilience and Strength to T9 or T10, with Recovery and Discipline being as high as I can (and screw Intellect lmao). Warlocks or Titans don't, they don't need to care about Mobility, they can have 2 dumb stat's and T10 Resilience and either Discipline or Strength, having a high Recovery, and again, screw Intellect. Radiant Light with Powerful Friends gave me the ability to be on par with the other classes, because unlike them, I can't make shields or drop healing rifts, I need to focus on being fast, being able to take a lot of hits, being able to quickly recover, and then being able to use what my build prioritizes. Now, I have had a people go "oh you get a ton of invis if you use this specific exotic (like assassins cowl)" which yeah, sure, but before I could of had a really good invis hunter build with pretty much any exotic. So instead of expanding our play style, I feel more restricted then ever. And let it be known I'm not the best player, I fumble fingers and attacks, so having room for mistakes really help, but all that room feels gone now. My person build is a high invis hunter (T9-10 Mob, Res, Str) with Orpheus rig, gives me a quick moving build that had a high burst of super damage that then really screws with the ads caught in it, it's my favourite build, because it's *my* build, it's my play style, it's how I enjoy destiny. With the new mods, I just can't do that anymore, it makes me feel more weak then ever, and that's just not enjoyable, and is a big irksome thing that's stopping me from fully enjoying the game. Please bring back stat effecting mods bungie, let me be more useful then a wet noodle. Now everyone has different builds and different opinions, feel free to share, but if all you have to say is "git good" or how I should just play arc instead (yes I've gotten that a few times) then just keep it to yourself, got little care for that right now.
