I feel you Bro. Constantly missing on the outer space jumping challenge there as well. I can even nail down exactly the point where I failed so far. The part where you need to move out the three platforms. I always missed to jump from the second to the third one placed higher in the first attempt. And I'm already with my Lion Rampants. Anyway. This week another try. Question to the community. How do you kill the Hive Knight after the jumping section? I often get killed there as well. Gjallarhorn/Super didn't work well with the acolytes around. Thinking of bubble plus sword for my next attempt. Final boss no issues.
In the space section, I kill the knights at range with Ticcus's Divination or a Arc Scout. Ticcu's tracks on everything there, simply hip fire and it locks on and tracks. And Ticcus's Divination especially good on those Shank waves. On Legend it may take 2 or 3 shots, but once I kill one, the rest explode. On Normal, Ticcu's is a one hip shot for groups, even the solar ones.
I use La Monarque- kill them or the little guys who fly around from a distance. That way I don’t have to worry about them as I jump. If you are having issues with jumping, I would recommend a sword. That way you can switch to a 3rd person POV. Might help, and it’s what I use, as I have hard times with jumps.
If you're talking about the big knight boss with the orange bar acolytes that spawn with him, I use hothead and super. The new buff you get from picking up the ammo crate outside seems to help a lot. It lasts for 1 minute I believe and was plenty of time to knock him down. I didn't bother killing any of the acolytes, just concentrated on the boss. Plenty of movement and keep shooting. Osto Striga works a treat there too, his health will keep ticking down as you pump rockets into him. Good luck.
