PvP is absolute trash & bungie just lies about it getting better.
It's almost like these people take pride in bending the non-pvp players over the table and just screwing us over time after time. I for one am sick of being cannon fodder for some high speed "content streamers" to just -blam!- on constantly. If it wasn't for the "required" pvp bs for seasonal challenges, I wouldn't even go in there anymore. Bungie has managed to fk up the matchmaking so badly it's not fun anymore. It's just a damn chore and God forbid we complain about it - only faced with "git good" apes and content streamers saying but I need a 20 streak to keep my viewers entertained.
This is the "new" SBMM - So it's sbmm except when it's not, and if/when the 1.0 & under players get paired with the 2.0+ players.... don't worry, you just won't lose as many points.
Bungie is intentionally ruining the experience for the vast majority of players, just to benefit the ones who are the most outspoken. Well Bungie, we want those FAIR matches you spoke about in the TWAB, and we want the SBMM modes to actually be SBMM, not sbmm but with conditions.
Bungie, until you get this crap worked out, I'll stick to other pvp games. It's not always that we don't like pvp, we just don't like YOUR pvp lobbies.
"Over 50% of matches have a skill disparity of 900 or more between best and worst player, which is so significant that the outcome is already known before a single shot is fired."
