the cheese practically changes nothing unless you’re extremely competent at bursting down the boss at an extremely tough angle to hit LFR.
You’d be better off doing it normally when you have a better chance at killing him. He is a D2 vanilla boss after all, which are all notorious for having relatively low health.

I made my build all around buffs. If people I play with also use solar rocket launchers, and save 5 rockets for the boss - it's dead even before the elevator reaches the top. I don't even have to use my super. It's super effective and easy.
