The event ran for 3 weeks.
3 weeks = 21 days.
1 hour a day = 21 hours.
If you can't get it done in that amount of time you're either doing it wrong or you need to be considering another pastime.
I don't think the so called "grind" was excessive at all.
Want the loot? Do the thing, simple.

由R-E-D-C-E-L-L編輯: 8/10/2022 4:55:07 PMKind of a bad assessment. For one, people might want it for 3 characters and for 2, you're pretending there aren't a ton of other things you need to do on weekly reset, so op should just not do any of that stuff at all in favor of only solstice? If he had 3 to 4 hours a day to play, I would maybe agree with you, but not 1 hour, I think you're being completely unreasonable.

I think if you don't have the time, that's on you. Unreasonable would be making it where you had to spend all day for three weeks to get thing. People need to prioritise their time, if Bungo made everything obtainable within a few hours other people would complain that's it's all too easy. Compared to previous years this year's Solstice event was very easy.

Honestly if it's such an annoying grind that alot of people just said nope, then it's too much of a grind. You can look at my characters if you want, I only did it for the pinnacle each week and I don't even have a build with 3 to 4 stats at 100. It was just so boringly monotonous that I was like nope lol nothing is gonna make me want to keep doing this. I do agree that if you can't get yourself more than 1 hour a day for your own self enjoyment, you really aren't thinking about yourself enough. People who aren't into video games get to watch 4 hours of TV a night, so you should be allowed your own time for whatever you like, be it destiny or anything else you enjoy. So maybe you've convinced me a little bit to your side. But I also think the grind was way more than should be expected for people who do like to work on all 3 characters. That much I will stand by.

由Itcus編輯: 8/11/2022 12:23:14 AMI'll give you my view on it. I only work 2 days a week, that means I have 5 days a week to play as much as I please (lucky for me, I guess) That being said, I didn't do all 3 characters. I didn't care enough to get complete sets of Solstice armor for all 3, it wasn't worth the time, IMO. I think a lot of people see others doing a thing and automatically think they should also be able to do/have said thing. This kind of mentality is flawed because we all have different expectations and demands on our lives. As I stated before, people need to prioritise their time. At the end of the day it's a video game and should be enjoyed. Spend your time doing what you enjoy not on a flawed concept of needing to do/have a thing because it's there or because someone else did/has it.
Character boosters were in effect on the last week.
A feature that they removed this year, only to then add again for the last week. I know people complained about it being absent but, realistically, that must have been a pretty huge drop in player engagement.

由R-E-D-C-E-L-L編輯: 8/10/2022 6:41:28 PMAn hour a day. All I'm gonna say. When you add all the pinnacle missions together, there isn't enough time, especially when you figure in 3 characters. Nothing you say will make the math add up, idk what hill you're trying to die on instead of just admitting you're incorrect here. Boosters don't make the missions any shorter, they just give more XP.

Doing my 3rd took just over 4 hours to do all 24 triumphs and upgrade the armour set.
