Farmers in non Flawless Pool
What are you doing to resolve the issue of Farmers in the non-Flawless, ruining the game experience for others and seeing that the pool is not working as intended. I should not have to go up against a team that has 50+ wins and 0 losses in trials in the Non-flawless pool. All because they keep resetting their cards. It should be skill based only and not card based. Make the farmers have to play out their card and only able to reset if the card is flawed. When I have an ELO of 10% and get matched up with ELOs of 0.2%. Trials needs to be worked over again and balanced, it’s nothing but toxic players. You either go up against stat farmers, who rack up wins and keep resetting to gate keep players who just want to go flawless for the week. Or you have account recovery players who have a better skilled player playing as them, because of all the farmers. The system is not working, and Bungie is just ignoring it. Have it win based matching again so these farmers can go up against others just like them.

The problem is community. People used to be proud to go flawless. Now they're proud of their trials stats, which they farm by resetting their cards early. There is no punishment for failing a card, so people do it for free. Honestly, I'm a fan of the idea that if you reset a card so many times and you've been flawless before, you immediately get sent to the flawless pool for abuse.

8 回覆It's funny they'll scream "get gud" & "it's PvP endgame it's not supposed to be easy". While they do everything in their power from facing good players themselves & exploiting the trials card.

12 回覆Trials had much better numbers the first week of the “revamp”, which didn’t have a flawless pool. Remove flawless pool & make it all one pool. That is the only fix needed. You’re gonna have people farming it regardless. Good players will farm bad players regardless. Accept it bud.

Ive barely seen any in months, which wouldnt prove much on its own, but bungie has officially come out more than once and said very few people are doing it. With how many people make a big deal about it at this point im convinced that people are unaware that flawless pool isnt turned on fridays and saturdays. It doesnt go active till sundays, and thats likely why people fight others on such large streaks.

6 回覆The pool is working as intended.......it's just (smart) people reset cards to avoid the broken sandbox. That's all the flawless pool is. Broken guns and unbalanced exotics. 2nd point to make. The flawless pool has no incentive to sit there and play it out. "Oh but you get a chance at more adept weapons". A chance isn't good enough.

According to Bungie card resetting doesn't appear to be happening much. That said, they don't have to reset their cards to avoid the flawless pool. All they need to do is lose a single match to get a flawed card and then just keep playing (assuming they do not have a mercy card). I don't think they do card based matchmaking anymore so players doing this could match up against teams with 0 wins. I only say this because I have lost to teams who went to the lighthouse while my card was nowhere near 6 wins. I have also lost to teams when my flawed card had 7 wins and they did not go to the lighthouse. All that said, they need to ditch the flawless pool altogether. The goals of the flawless pool are good, they just need a more robust implementation to reach those goals and it needs to be such that players cannot skirt around it and avoid it.

4 回覆The game mode needs fixed. The sweats keep saying things like “ get gewd” and “end game pvp” but that’s just gatekeeping. The reset crowd is to busy trying to be streamers to let anyone else have fun. So everyone else leaves and then population drops. And we all know what comes next. Bungie makes the statement. “ Removing trials so we can take a closer look at it”.

6 回覆The simple solution here is to ditch the very flawed flawless system that will [i]never[/i] work and replace it with a more proper competitive system. 70 points needed for the lighthouse. +10 points per win, -7 points for a loss.

We can remove trials, the very ppl that want to play trials the most are the ones that reset. We can remove cards that prevent resetting, or make it just 7 wins. I don't understand how they say trials is suppose to be hard, but they intentionally reset to keep their games easier. Hit them in the feels. Take it away, or make it where no card equals no reset. Better yet, make it RNG lighthouse randomly after a game. Then everyone has an equal chance. Lmao image the chaos that would cause. Lol

Trials isn’t meant to be low skilled vs low skilled. You’re supposed to have the risk to face high skilled players, praying the odds favor you so you don’t. If you can’t beat the other team, you don’t deserve the gear. Get better. Stop expecting your hand to be held. Practice and get a team. The only thing toxic is someone playing pvp and whining about not being as good as someone else and expecting the game to revolve around them. They gave you freelance for a reason. Can’t hack it? Too bad.

1 回覆I have went flawless twice. Not because of me. But because I was invited by two groups that farm it. I seen a post on the boards and joined. Here is my observations: I was with two players who absolutely are tiers above anyone I have ever Ben in trials with. They would communicate their tacks right down to the second. They asked and explained to me my function that would better aid them in helping me to go flawless. I had no idea how to play my Titan the ways that they did and it enlightened me. My main is my Hunter! I am still amazed at what I watched take place. In one instance I was down and one of my teammates was. The one that was left, took out all 3 players in like 3-4 seconds when they converged on him. I still boggle at the skill level. They both regularly did this. I have no idea what would ensure skill based or skill level of the same caliber against each other what I can say is as I have read so many posts and looked at conclusions and then what I deal with. The two were the elite of the elite. In all areas of communication and then it assigning me some tasks to help ensure based on my skill level was a lot of fun. That was my first flawless ever and it was two weeks ago. I know there are many that love to help out, and that does not always guarantee a flawless but it is nice to see those that are still willing to lend a hand. Much respect to those who do actually help and bring others up. DB

2 回覆My son has been begging me to play trials with him. He’s a semi new player and has always wanted to play it. So I broke down yesterday and played with him and a friend of mine. I’m not a bad player but last night was a nightmare. She sheer caliber of player was beyond anything we could handle. We played 8 games, and only won 5 rounds out of 45. My son was so discouraged, he said he didn’t ever want to play Trials again. We held off on playing because of the Flawless pool. It felt like we were getting farmed and those other teams let us know it.

People will do ANYTHING to win, even if it hurts the playlist in the long run… If Bungie was going to add sbmm or do something to discourage or counter card resetters, they would have legitimately done it by now… Your wasting your time and efforts with this post completely. Trials is failing again. The population is straight up abysmal, even during week 1 where there’s always some new loot (which is even more ironic this season, as there was a new armor set to grind for. Yet still wasn’t enough people attempting to get it…). It can’t retain a stable playerbase, and the playlist becomes a sweat fest by week 4 every season. The trials revamp has failed to bring people into trials long term (again…). I almost would say the revamp was, once again, a failure to revitalize trials of Osiris. Population will continue to suffer as more and more people leave trials. It simply cannot keep a stable population. Here’s my suggestion… Quit trials. Quit it permanently. Your angry. Your frustrated. Your venting on the forums to a company that won’t do a thing, despite the population issues. Your better off forgetting trials exists, and letting it slide for your own mental health. Forget new items and weapons added to it. It’s not worth your time. You’ll feel better about yourself and will find the game more enjoyable. Not a single piece of trials loot is worth it, nor is it required for any part of the game. I have never attempted the playlist, as it’s legitimately a threat to my mental health, and I’ve STILL been able to complete master level content in game without a single trials weapon in my arsenal. Let trials go. Let the sweats play with each other and complain about sweaty cards when it’s population drops to pre revamp levels of participation again. Trials isn’t getting better. It never will. Let it go. Do the right thing for your own health.
