I ran into a guy in Survival who claimed he threw every game he played and that his bans don't happen.
I reported him for both griefing and inactivity along with harassment later on when he added me.
How long ago did you report them? restrictions dont happen within a few hours.
Is that not a thing that happens?
restrictions do escalate in length, depending on the type such as poor connection (warning->2 weeks->2 months). Stuff like afking/macroing etc might have a different set of lengths.
I've marked it as a game issue because... it is if players are not getting punished.
Nope, it isn't a game issue - game issues are stuff like quests not progressing, game crashes, destinations not loading etc
I reported him 3 games in a row, so about an hour ago.
I only reported for grief, inactivity, and abusive chat. But since the dude said he never tried and only threw, I'm sure I'm not the only one -blam!- them.
And if they're actively playing and continuing, why not just eventually Permanently ban them along with giving them extra steps to as a last chance feature of they do play again to not get banned. It's lame because anyone can do this at anytime due to the game being free.
I'd like to believe a functioning punishment system that never worked would be considered a game issue. I don't care if I'm wrong. I just believe that's how it should be.

Its not automatic restrictions so regardless of how many reports get sent. you've gotta wait for it to be manually reviewed and issued
The system does work (albeit they don't really publicize very often about the bans/restrictions) but we can see it from the posts on here on a daily/weekly basis
