This super feels sub-par right now, at least compared to its predecessor. Couple of things which might help it:
-Increase damage (PvE and PvP)
--PvP because some enemies survive even though you have hit them with a blade. Happens too often. Increasing damage to 300 might prevent this. Currently sitting at 205.
-Allow each blade to cause scorch (+60), fire trail (+30)
-Increase duration, allow each kill to add super energy
-Rework Dawn Chorus to how it used to behave before or substantially increase burn rate damage against Bosses, Majors and Minors
-Increase speed of blades (similar to harvestor)

Lolololol Daybreak doesn't need a PVP buff. It definitely needs a PVE buff as it is weak and no one uses it but it definitely doesn't need a PVP buff. You get such a massive health bonus if you miss or don't kill someone, which idk how the hell you are not killing someone with such a super, you have tons of time to correct it and throw more.

Overall PvE damage needs to be waaaay higher. It's pitiful right now and completely behind the other Solar 3 reworks. With exotics, Bl. Barrage is iro 680,000 Daybreak is iro 280,000 for example. Blade barrage needed it, so don't nerf that but bring up Daybreak quite a big bit.

It needs to ignite on kills and ignites need to give back energy. Same as how ignites refund GG shots.

You forgot hit registration which granted is an issue for just about anything that isn't a hitscan but you know still an issue

It just feels useless in higher PvE now in my opinion. I came back after few month break and the change is too noticeable. I feel so weak and have to be too specific with aspects to make it work compared to other subs. I do enjoy aspects and all the new perks for subclasses regardless. I think that’s an awesome step for Destiny as well as the weapon crafting and just needs improvements. Looking forward to Arc changes but let’s hope this one gets a buff.

They couldn’t rework the burn damage to increase with Dawnblade swings as it now exists as the Acorch mechanic. What they could do is either increase blade damage against enemies affected by Scorch, or cause every blade to Ignite the enemy.
