The biggest joke is calling it a reward. Having to pay for something is not a reward.

I don't understand why bungie likes to overprice out the wazoo everything on their online shop, like wtf people would definitely buy more stuff (which would bring them more customers) if stuff was reasonably priced, 50$ for a (not EVEN gold) medal is asking too much, its worth 15$ - 25$ and the Tankard is probably some "made in china" bulk produced trash like they did with the Jotuun toaster (that they just paid someone on alibaba to customize for them and bulk produce and costs like under 40$ on alibaba but sold for an absurd high price on bungie store) that's worth around 20$ - 30$ Worst part is it THEY CHARGE SHIPPING and even the shipping price is absurdly high... For S T A N D A R D shipping (2-4 weeks eta at best, 4 months to a full year later at worst), for the amount of money they be asking for like mostly everything on their store they really shouldn't be asking for shipping money on top of it, also there's the import tax that greedy govs in every varying country like to do, basically they hold your paid for product for ransom.. pay the import tax or you don't get what you legally paid for, that scummy greedy behavior they legalized and get away with really shouldn't even be legal in the first place

You know why it takes so long right? Everything is ordered by bungie in bulk from China, then it's shipped to Seattle, repackaged and sent to you. Bulk orders takes months, and they can only order then when they hit a minimum order number. Jotunn toasters where 0.59 in China but minimum order was like 2000. So bungie list the toaster, once they hit 2000 they order, then wait months to get them to Seattle, then post them to you for £175. So if you live outside the US orders can literally take a year to arrive. If an order doesn't hitba quota, say the toasters where stuck at 1400 orders, they'd have to pay more per unit, or leave it sat there until it fills, which again could add months.
