Random freezes, need to hard restart to keep playing
About a week ago or so, Destiny will randomly freeze and I can't tab out of the window or ctrl alt dlt out or anything. Music still plays, music in the background or on YouTube still plays, but the game completely freezes. I know with a lot of bugs, the problem is something super unrelated to the game, but I can't imagine it's a graphics issue. Chaotic boss rooms are perfectly fine, and it doesn't freeze consistently. Sometimes I'll be playing for a couple hours, sometimes only about 10 minutes. There doesn't seem to be a specific action that triggers it. I've verified my files, messed with my graphics settings, reinstalled the Nvidia graphics driver, checked for updates and all that and I don't know what else to do since it's not consistent.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

1 回覆Been having this exact issue since Season of the Lost dropped but has continued through Witch Queen. Sometimes the game goes for hrs with no performance issues or 30 minutes but my sessions almost always end in a sudden freeze with the music still playing. Tried everything you've tried and more also with no luck. No consistency or error messages. I also have Nvidia graphics (3070) card but don't think that is the issue. I'm running an AMD cpu though so I have been wondering if that's the problem but everything I've tried for that hasn't fixed it either. Destiny is the only game that crashes like this and it ran perfectly on this rig before Season of the Lost (and even my worse rig prior to this). Have literally tried everything. Just hoping that coming to the forums and raising awareness for this gives us some answers.
