Lost old and current season when transferring characters from console to Steam
Hello, I have been playing Destiny since the release of the first part, and I bought all the add-ons on the console, I took the deluxe edition of the second part on the release and pumped all the characters there, but did not buy DLS and abandoned the game. 1 回覆The PC Move was specifically for transferring Blizzard based Destiny 2 data over to Steam, and had nothing to do with console accounts. That option did indeed end as of December 2020. Cross-save is what allows players to link multiple platform accounts to the their Bungie profile, and then select one of those accounts as the active save data to be used to play across platforms. No data is actually transferred between the accounts, and you are essentially borrowing the save data from the active account, but only while cross-save remains enabled. Please note that there would have been a warning when you started the game for the first time on Steam, advising to ensure that cross-save be setup before proceeding into the game. Once you accepted that warning, and entered the game, your season passes became bound. While game expansions are licensed through the respective platform companies, the season passes are an in-game purchase. Season passes get applied to characters, specifically the character save data that is active at the time the pass(es) are purchased/activated. As you redeemed your season pass(es) on Steam, while your Steam character(s) were the active save, that is where your seasons are bound. Once you activated cross-save, your Steam data became dormant, and your console characters are now the active save set. Your console based characters cannot access the season passes, as they do not own the seasons. Only your Steam characters own season passes. To access your purchased season(s), you would need to deactivate cross-save, and play the game using your Steam characters. To play your console based characters, and access seasonal content, you would need to buy the pass in-game with silver for those characters. Only the currently active season can be purchased with silver. It is not possible to transfer season passes from one character set to another.
