So Bungie I noticed some stuff, wonder if you have...
1. People are willing to just jump off the map for 10 games for Trials loot.
2. People are willing to do Trade Wins crap
3. People are willing to cheat using hacks.
Still think that Skill Based Match Making is a bad idea? Sweats think so, Try-hards think so, Streamers think so. So, how did we get to this point?
But it's not just pvp, look at pve...
4. People are wanting to do 12 man actives they are willing to try syncing up for raids, nightfalls and dungeons
YES YES, FEED ME YOUR HATE. I asked a question, how did we get to this point in the state of the game where people have gotten to the point of jumping off the map, cheating so openly they would stream it, and win trading, and you people just jumped as soon as sbmm was brought up. Thanks for that.
So you people bash someone for just asking a question?
THANK YOU, I'VE ENJOYED THE SALT, IT WENT WELL WITH MY BREAKFAST.

I jump off the map for free loot because I CAN. Trails is a mess and 10 losses is a small price to pay for loot. We get loot, they get free wins. Why do are people complaining...

An exploit is an exploit. It shouldn't matter if people are getting easy raid chests or easy Trials chest. It is the same thing. They are exploiting the game to get rewards. Both are against the ToS. It is unethical to punish one group and not the other. I am disappointed in Bungie's response and handling of the two exploits.

When trials got postponed on Sunday only 110,000 people had played during the weekend. About One quarter of players win swapped, other players just cheated, and others were recoveries. SERIOUS QUESTION Is anyone really playing trials anymore. It's a broken game mode, and bungie has 0 idea on how to fix.

Umm... Trials has never been solely based on SBMM, ever. Trials has always been matchmaking based on card progression. The reason Trials is trash right now is because there is currently no incentive for casual players to play Trials. 1 token for a win and 0 tokens for a loss is laughable. If you are a team that is only winning half the time, you are getting on average 0.5 tokens per game. Everyone recognizes that there is an issue with Trials. However... Most players are okay with CBMM. The only people that complain about CBMM are those that are literal potatoes in PVP. With SBMM, you are essentially forced to use meta loadouts exclusively if you want to win since any slight edge can win you the match. With CBMM, you can play with a more diverse set of loadouts without it directly impacting the outcome of the match. Does CBMM result in more Mercy games? By definition, yes. However, if you are someone complaining that CBMM means you are getting Mercied in most games, you might want to look at the common factor across those games...

由RoninPhoenix650編輯: 3/3/2021 5:03:08 PMAnyone who thinks trials shouldn’t have sbmm is just flat out wrong. The time for trying to explain why is over. It has been explained already a million times. Get on board with it or get out of the way.

How'd we get here? Simple. 1. Trials is broken....it was born broken. People used to tolerate it being broken because they could get loot from it without having to win. But the current version is so disrespectful and unrewarding to average players that there is no reason for them to even show up.....then the move to PC caused cheating to explode, when Bungie never solved the cheating problems on console. So the experience now is even miserable for good players. 2. 12 man raids and Nightfalls is just novelty. The Division went through that for awhile, and once the novelty wares off, that will go away. 3. SBMM? That a culture problem in shooter games. Thanks to COD and Halo you have a generation of gamers who define fun not in terms of competing against players of their own skill level, but in terms of being allowed to dominate weaker players. Pub Stomp culture. If you walked into any sports locker room and started talking about how its a punishment to have to play teams of your own level of skill? a. You'd probably get a wet towel snapped into the back of your head....and then.... b. You'd get laughed out of the place.

Doing 8+ person nightfalls or raids are just more fun. That’s why people are doing it. It’s fun and easy

Jumping off the map for my desperado messenger was the most fun I've had in trials since d1 👍

Being saying it since Trials was re introduced, Trials is a mistake. You are gatekeeping very desirable loot behind a PvP activity in a game that has no place trying to be a competitive PvP game. Destiny 2 PvP is not competitive. It is supposed to be chaotic fun. Destiny is a Looter. So when you take all of this into account (desirable loot behind atrocious, toxic mode) you are setting up a System that have all the incentives for people to cheat, pay for recovs, win trade, ddos, etc. SBMM won't fix it. Trials need to go or Bungie needs to put out additional means to acquire it's loot.

由A_mo編輯: 3/3/2021 6:44:09 AMWhat does SBMM have to do with 12 man raids? PvP modes need a PvP-centric reward system that's based off of the things that make PvP PvP. PvP what I'm saying? Of course if you can't handle the PvP you can always... ...go play strikes. Seriously, go. play. strikes...

由Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds編輯: 3/3/2021 5:48:44 PMThis is the result of making exclusive gear in an ultra competitive mode. Those two reasons for playing the game don’t go well together. At All. This will ALWAYS happen unless there are other ways to acquire loot. I’m not interested in all the “if you want the loot play the activity” and the “git gud” responses so save your virtual breath. They could EASILY balance rewards against time to acquisition and challenge and make things available from multiple sources. As it is now, the idea of Destiny PvP being legitimately competitive is laughable and it always will be because people aren’t playing to compete. They’re playing for loot. These notions are in fundamental opposition of one another. The way they currently do this, this current model, will never not have these kinds of issues. SBMM won’t even fix it. It’s the loot.
