No because the pay me money for stuff plague will jump on it and use that to make real money.
It's happened in every MMO that has trading and WILL happen here if implemented.

I don't hate the idea of player exchanging gear, in some cases it would even be great for players that couldn't get something they've been farming for large amounts of time and couldn't obtain. It's just the amount of people that would jump at the chance to exploit it in an attempt to get money is so large it would be abused almost immediately.
