I finally finished my collection of exotics from Xur's engrams. And my last exotic happened to be Queen breakers. I remember using this thing a lot in D1 and I remember liking it a lot, but after using it for a couple of days I can honestly say it's probably one of the worst exotics in the game right now.
I don't understand why this thing is a heavy weapon when most sniper rifles in the special slot will outclass it in damage, and have larger reserve and larger availability of ammo.
Honestly I think the best fix for this gun would be just to make it an exemption to the heavy ammo rule for linear fusions. I think it would do well just being an Arbalest in the secondary slot.(of course the damage may have to be tweaked slightly for crucible and Gambit and even PVE, but that's kind of a given) The second thing that I think would make this gun a lot funner to use would be allowing us to switch modes without having to open our inventory and switch a mod. Just give it a special animation and let us switch modes by holding the reload button like most other weapons that have alternate firing modes.
I can't say my solution would be the fix all to this gun, but something has to be done about it. This thing is like the third least used exotic in the game across the board I literally cannot think of a single reason to recommend using this thing in its current state.

由SIERRA - 117編輯: 2/16/2021 3:09:48 PMHonestly I think majority of the linear fusions should be in the special slot with a few exceptions. Not everyone wants to use a sniper, and not everyone wants to use a fusion or shotgun, and not everyone wants an exotic kinetic linear fusion to take their kinetic slot. so why not put energy linear fusions in the special slot? It would help add to build diversity.

由Darkwireman編輯: 2/15/2021 11:43:24 AMAs someone who briefly enjoyed Gambit until heavy weapons (including, and for a time, primarily Queenbreaker) absolutely made Invasions the worst, I'm not sad it currently sees no use with the rest of the Linear Fusions. That said, none of them are being used because they are terrible excuses for Heavy Weapons: -horrible ammo reserves -better high damage, single shot weapons exist in the Heavy slot, and Legendary Snipers exist. -a heavy weapon should, by all reasonable expectations, either deal heavy damage in a large radius to multiple targets, or deal massive damage to a single target more quickly than any other weapon type. Linear Fusions do neither. Kick them down to the Special slot and reduce their body shot damage against Guardians.

QB had up to 72 ammo in D1Y2, that was the gun's strength. Now it just sucks in every way. Just like every other LFR, Bungie is scared to make an actual benefit to counter the charge time so they just end up being lame. Arbalest has crazy aim assist, but take that away and why would you use it over Adored? It's just going to be another dead LFR after the nerf you know is coming.

All linear fusions should honestly have their aim assist and flinch reduction nerfed slightly and be moved to the special weapon slot. They simply are not good in the heavy slot.

I’m happy for it and all LFR to be in special slot. But AA needs to be zero otherwise it’s arbelest all over again -

由MrSlippery編輯: 2/14/2021 8:32:44 PMAww yes queens breaker! It’s simply in the heavy slot because everyone used it in gambit when it came out thus creating the assumption it was to powerful to be a special... I mean that thing was the go too if you hadn’t grinder sleeper out yet

They would for sure need to tweak aim assist and damage. QB with the marksman sight can 1 shot to the body, so maybe bring it down to it 1 shots low resilience guardians (I would say 2 or 3 resilience and lower), and critically wounds any one else. Aim assist also needs to change. Really don't need an energy Arbalest with that level of aim assist it has. On a side note they also need to bring Whisper and DARCI into the special slot
