Those veterans want to think they are superior because they did that already. Of course since they started playing Destiny from the beginning. Those gatekeeping crybaby veterans never really loved the game. They did all that but to them it was a pain they suffered. And because of that and because they are spoiled brats, they want everyone else to suffer equally (or even more). Same people also flood the truth-to-power threads and say "you had 2 years" even if it isn't true. They simply want to gatekeep and are generally weird egocentric people.

Look, I get it. Some people hate RNG, and some people are extremely unlucky when it comes to RNG. But if they changed the system at the 11th hour before it goes away, imo it is more a spit in the face to those that did grind and grind and grind to earn the reward. Yes, people miss out on some things. I am missing one item stopping me from completing 2 separate seals, and you still won't hear me complain about not getting it come Nov 10 if I don't complete it by then. People have to accept you can't get everything you want all the time without putting in the effort. If a reward is given away freely, does it really have its value still? Is it really an accomplishment?

It is not a spit into my face. I would totally be happy if other players can finish this as well. It was my own decision to grind it. Nobody forced me. So why should I be angry or why should it be like a spit into my face? Don't be stupid! I would be happy if they help the players with bad luck or new players that simply have not much time with so many stuff to do.

It won’t change anyway. They already said that about the lore for truth to power. Sucks to suck for procrastinators. Maybe they will learn there is no reward for waiting until the last minute and the world doesn’t wait for them. Entitlement be real.

There is a reason. Should have done it over the 2 years it’s been around instead of waiting until it’s going away and then rushing to complete it and complaining. If you didn’t procrastinate and then rush, this wouldn’t be an issue. Hell, I didn’t even get the EP weapons until like black armory or something.

The RNG wasn’t a big deal when it was out, and it’s not a big deal now. Just run the activity. If you want it so bad, you’ll stick to it. The game can’t just give you everything for playing an activity like 5 times. Loot games are all RNG based. If you don’t like it, don’t play them. I’m not insulting, I’m dropping some hard truth. It’s you man, not the game.

I got my god roll seventh seraph CQC shotgun for PVP 2 weeks ago while playing the whole season and playing the last season and grinding like hell. Do you even know how small the chances are to get the barrel you want with the mag you want and also the perks and masterwork "perk" you want? The RNG is too much. And you know that! I dismantled tons of 7thSeraph shotguns last season and this season. It was a hell of a grind. I got accurized rounds, the barrel with the longest range without killing the spread (forgot the english name), range masterwork, snapshot sights and quickdraw. And also one for PVE that I got a bit lucky and got earlier it was autoloading holster, vorpal weapon, range masterwork, the same barrel as my pvp roll and also again accurized rounds. That was my personal favorite PVE roll, despite not considered god roll by many players. And then imagine that for every weapon. It's a hell of a grind. Just imagine how it feels for the people that grinded for the mindbender godroll?
