Hmm...so you said character faces will look different than they do now. Does that mean we will also be able to change existing character looks? If not, that is pretty crappy that we will now be stuck with an appearance that we didn't even select in the first place.

Community: “We want to change our appearances.” Bungie: “We hear you and are changing your characters appearance. New characters can look better though.”
