Nooo that's not how guns work at all.... So the "Auto rifles" are fully automatic guns, now that being said; there should not be a hold button to shoot single shots as you don't hold the selector switch on a gun down to shoot it burst or single fire. Onto what you said about "making two different weapons that do the same thing" Scout rifles and Auto rifles are not the same thing, unless you mean "you shoot things with them, why are there two guns that do the same thing?" Scout rifles are DMRs (designated marksman rifles) they're made to be semi-auto because automatic is highly inaccurate, with a DMR you have slower more calculated shooting with more range. Buuut since they're the same things; why not just let us use knives for everything in game, they still get the job done (not throwing knives just normal knives)
