Social distancing isn't all that bad
The roads are empty so I get to go pretty much wherever I want and enjoy nature and shit.
Already got plans to see another spot soon.

5 回覆No school buses and a major reduction in local traffic makes my morning drive smooth and uneventful. Thinking back to just a couple weeks before the quarantine, I had a school bus in front of me at a 4 way stop. It turned left and stopped to pick up the kid who lives on that corner. There were 2 cars coming from the right, and 1 in front of me, who was able to proceed straight. As soon as he went, I pulled forward, and the 1st car to the right turned to go the direction I was coming from. All good and it was my turn to go. The bus is still in the process of picking up the kid.... But no. The bottle blonde, 40 something, soccer mom in her new black GMC SUV who was following that car that just turned, never stopped and followed it. I had already begun rolling forward out of normal reaction to how 4 way stops are supposed to work, only to have to stop immediately because of her. I glared at her and made hand gestures to her (inoffensive) to exclaim 'REALLY?" She had the gall to stare back and seemed to be screaming at me that I shouldn't be able to go because of the bus. I had no turn signal on that I was going it's direction, for I was also going to go straight, like the car before me. The whole things lasts maybe 4-5 seconds, but still, I am grateful that there is a huge reductions in bottle blonde soccer mom's in their "look at me" new, black SUV's out on the road in the morning. Quarantining the bulk of the driving rules impaired is awesome. They should make that permanent.

Nah... House arrest and testing folk for country/world wide? standardized welfare program aint all that bad. Here in 🇺🇸 they doin us like they crack dealers... Givin citizens a taste for free(stimulus) and then gonna beat us down later for our fix(when stimulus $$ is washed out lottery, booze and bills) I read somewhere a political science blog that said State Capitalism always 👉creates👈 a calamity when things are going a certain way... To then justify their out of control spending and theft of tax money, as well it reminds citizens of their "tax farm"... Who is IN CHARGE. Anywhoo.... Bonanza's on 📺. Gonna be couch potatoing like a good zombie for a bit. Dont get no 🌞 folks.... Vampyrvirus hates that.

[i]I wish I could go out for a drive. Here in Ireland the police ( the Gardai ) have been given emergency powers, and they’ve set up numerous road checks around the country. The government doesn’t want anyone to go anywhere unless they absolutely have to. I got stopped ( and questioned ) twice yesterday when I went to the nearest amenity centre to recycle some aluminium cans and glass bottles. Fortunately, I’m a gamer, so I have a few games to keep me occupied. I’ve also got Netflix, Crunchyroll, Disney +, and A Sky Subscription, so at least I’m not bored.[/i]

2 回覆I've just been finishing some games and working on my Fallout 4 mod. I still need to download Unity and learn some of this coding for myself.
