I have played d2 since the dark below y1 d1. loved it ever since. d2 have had its down, but I have always come back. for me, it was always the PVP part of the game that made it fun. I enjoy raids and some end PvE content, but I have never really liked the grind aspect that has come with d2. d1 I feel is a different kind of grind I like better, or maybe I just remember it that way. anyways, I wanted to return to d2 after a break, was a felt Bungie excluded the PVP content, and put so much time in PvE. all I wanted and every other PVP player wanted to be trials. and they finally added it, after more than 1 and a half year. wit minimal change I feel really might be wrong though but I still feel Bungie doesn't really put nearly as much time in PVP as PvE. and I know PvE is a much bigger aspect of the game, but still. they haven't really given PVP players something, they just copy/pasted trials from d1 for the most part. anyway, as I said, I want to return. but then again I don't like the grind, and that's why I love the PVP, so when I found out I had to grind to compete in trials it really was a kick in the d for me. the only way I can have fun in trails is by grinding the aspect of the game I don't like. and yes I understand it is endgame, and I understand why the power level is there. but Bungie could have given us PVP players more powerful gear from the crucible. I don't have a solution or anything I'm just saying what I think. so yeah I have not returned to d2 even though I really want to, but I don't think the grind is worth it. I was online last week trying to play some pve and leveling, but I find it hard deciding where to start. and that the leveling process would take me (a person who doesn't have much patience for grind) to reach a good enough level to compete, ages.
