I have a solution to make more vault space available. Bungie should allow us to dismantle low-rolled Scourge of the Past armor pieces for example and receive an armor ornament for that piece upon dismantling. That way we can transmog any high stat armor into the look we want. With 11 total world armor sets next season and most of our vaults already being near capacity, the dilemma of Vault space will only get worse as we grind new weapons and armor to collect. I believe armor ornaments are the solution. In Director's Cut 1 in Aug 2019, Luke Smith said: "We are continuing to try and separate capability/gameplay from vanity. Armor 2.0 and Universal Ornaments are big parts of this separation. " Bungie I understand you probably want to encourage the grind for unique armor sets. But please, we are running out of space, and forcing us to delete the armor pieces in order to receive the ornament, or at least an rng chance to receive the ornament would allow more customization options and free up valuable vault space.
