Optional Automatic Inventory Management

TL;DR: Give Ghost the ability to manage guardians' inventories for them, using rules set by the guardians themselves. Ensure sanity checks are in place to reduce probability of human error ruining the players' experiences. I would like to propose a method of automating inventory management. Similar to how the chalice works, what if ghost could have the ability to process pickups automatically per rules set by their guardian? Some powerful filters can be made, like: - auto-disassemble everything below a certain rarity. - for auto-rifles, prioritize these traits (do not disassemble anything with the following traits): - - Zen Moment - - Moving Target - a quick toggle for guardians to manually manage their inventory, should they feel the need to. By allowing players to do their own automation, they are still using their brainpower to craft things the way they like, but it could remove the tedium of recalling and managing these personal rules on a per-item basis. I, personally, get overwhelmed with the amount of items I feel I need to parse through between play sessions with friends. At times, it's made me feel the compulsion to quit altogether. This could eliminate most of that. I think it is important that ghost does not use a resource to automate the process (unlike the items the chalice uses to filter new loot). Ghost's new ability would not affect drop probabilities, but simply automate the processing of items the player already receives. I believe this ability should be accessible to everyone from the start, such that players don't feel like getting to the point where they have the tool is a drag. As automation can also cause players to lose items if they're not being mindful, I think it's also important that some sanity checks are included to prevent guardians from doing things that are probably detrimental to their experience. This could also make automation more fun. For example, after "telling" ghost a new rule you'd like it to use, it could give you feedback in a fun (and hopefully not annoying) manner. For example: If the guardian is too liberal with a disassembly rule: "Um, are you sure you want me to disassemble ALL new legendary items?" If the guardian disables the automatic processing: "Oh! Are you sure? I can keep you in the battle if you let me manage your things." General errors without voice-lines (yet): "I'm a bit confused. Could you look over what you'd like me to do?" To close, I think this could streamline the "looter-shooter" formula by reducing downtime caused by inventory management.
