I know where a few uncapped wells are and will make drip gas if I have to. Although I could also go the Natural gas route since that is why I know where they are.
Something people don't think about with electric cars is the amount of pollution created making many of the parts that are supposed to be eco friendly. The battery is the worse offender. My sports car will make less pollution in it's lifetime then an electric car that makes it to the same age due to said batteries. Also, it's like 6k to replace the battery pack when they fail.

The battery is the worse offender
That's what I was talking about.
That and the fact that hybrid and electric's batteries are as bad if not worse for the environment than their gas powered counterparts. Creating the electricity is still not entirely clean in many areas, disposal of spent batteries is extraordinarily toxic, and the fact that the batteries for the electrics can be prone to ignition.
The heck of it is with you other idea;
I know where a few uncapped wells are and will make drip gas if I have to.
Today's vehicles will not run on it. There has to be a specific ethanol content to them or they will not run.

I kind of skipped over what you posted. Sorry bout that! LOL The vehicles I own right now will both run on drip gas, I currently have to go out of my way to find a station that sells "no ethanol" fuel, because they both run like garbage on 10% ethanol or above. Luckily there is one 2 miles from my house. I currently own a 2000 firebird ws6 and a 69 chevy c20. The c20 was my daily driver until the starter jammed on a chipped tooth on the flexplate about 3 months ago. I just haven't had the time to fix it.

I keep saying that I'm going to, just haven't done it yet. I'd like to cam it as well, but I have heard that the transmission will need to be beefed up or replaced before I can throw any real parts at it. Not to mention the old truck has been a money pit the last few years. But I can't bring myself to get rid of it. My dad bought it for me when I was 14 for 1k.
