Good Day,
Hope you are well!
I have a query in regards to my network, I have recently upgraded to a router that maximizes the quality of my line as much as possible, including eliminating Bufferbloat issues.
I want to play Comp again, however I am not willing to do so unless I know that I will not ruin the experience for anyone else, I am on DSL unfortunately with max 8.7mb down and 0.87mb up, is there anyway I can do one test game for you to inspect or am I unfortunately forced to wait for our Fibre teams to come around in two months, I am wanting to get my Randy's throwing knife for the seal.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Kind Regards,

Just dropping this again at the top of the thread so it is more visible.
The official FCC broadband definition is a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload. This standard was introduced by FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler in 2015 as an increase to the previous standard of 4 Mbps download, 1 Mbps upload. The benchmark increase was justified as necessary due to “advances in technology, market offerings by broadband providers and consumer demand.”
https://broadbandnow.com/report/fcc-broadband-definition/ The game specs list a "Broadband Internet" requirement, not "High Speed"... they specifically state "Broadband". The need for 1mbps upload bandwidth is also mentioned specifically in their network troubleshooting guide. In short, if you have less than 1mbps upload bandwidth, you risk compromising integrity of an instance which may cause players to report you and eventually leading to suspensions or even a ban.

O.87 is well under what is needed. There is a good chance you will get reported and banned or restricted
