Where is the option for this in game?!?!?! Bungie, you find it difficult to add this option in the game settings for those who irritate these "numbers"?

Jesus Christ these comments. OP is only asking for more options to have in the game, and everyone is against him/her? Damage numbers are not necessary in PvP. As long as you can see the enemies health bar you can easily tell how much damage you're doing to them. It's completely understandable to me that those numbers popping up can be a distraction or even cover up something important you want to see on your screen. Having an option to turn them off wouldn't hurt anybody, but to not have that option just because the game has RPG elements? That's just -blam!-ing stupid.

It's an FPS with RPG elements (quite a lot) and while not super deep, the RPG elements are there. Such hybrid genres exist for years now. Games like Borderlands, which is also an RPG-FPS have them, and most other RPGs have them as well. I assume you never really playes a games with these "numbers" before since you mentioned Halo and Battlefield. They are useful for many reasons, especially in PvP (damage overall, critical hits, effective range on weapons etc) what a normal shieldbar couldn't show, especially in a game with tons of guns. You can't turn them off in this game. You wouldn't benefit from it anyways. That's obviously why Bungie decided to not even bother with the option on the first place.

Bruh they’re part of the game. Always have been, always will be. It’s technically supposed to be an RPG after all
