No need for useless time gates. It is bad enough there is RNG to get the weekly weapon from Escalation Protocol. Why is it limited to once a week?

This set should be an ornament along with every other set we have acquired over the last few years, from the drops I've got of the gear nothing has hit close to 60+ points so in its current state it's pointless farming for the gear when it drops with such low stats.

Just remove the keys altogether. No need having base level armor locked behind stupid keys. It’s not powerful or high stat. Just make the armor a random piece drop from the last chest with the possibility of getting an armor piece on the earlier chest too.

Would love to see this as well as a 6 player matchmade option for EP. Having time gates for content in a current season is perfectly fine, but once the content is outdated, it should have an easier point of entry. This is even more true now that they have Armor 2.0 versions of the armor.

I can nether agree nor disagree with this. What does one get but a piece or armour, right? Kind of pointless but for the Wayfarer title to do the EPs to get the weapons, and you don't need a key for that. I guess for newbs to blast through it, removing the key limits is worthwhile. I don't have any dog in this fight, so go for it.

This. Old expansions limitations needs to be removed/decreased to help catch up for new players or help old players finish things like warmind horrible destination badge. Mmorpgs do that for old expansion why cant bungie think about this simple thing.

I stacked keys before Shadowkeep, had 6 or 7 keys on each character. From the 5 keys I used on my Titan I got 1 Helmet, 2 Chest pcs, 1 boot, 1 class item... still need the gauntlets. From the 6 keys I used on my Warlock I got 3 gauntlets, 2 chests pcs, and 2 bonds... still need the helmet and boots. Because the RNG enables you to get too many duplicates AND the armor has affinities... I 100% agree that there should NOT be any limitations on keys. I haven't done any with my Hunter yet but still have 6 decrypted keys ready to go... but with RNG you never know.

would be nice if they even changed it to either the Lecturn System, Forge, or Ikora system. Ie. turn in keys for bounty specific to what you want. For the sake of replayability [bungie] they would ultimately want to keep; since the weapons are locked rolls they could only be one a week and the armor would be multiple a week in order to get the desired roll.
