Title says it all. I made a big mistake with that neon green hair. This was a commitment I didn't think through.

Code Vein does it easily, you literally just look into the mirror object and you can change everything at no additional cost or consequence. It saves and you move on. You even have multiple save slots for your appearance should you decide to make more than one. Witcher can change the hair and facial hair, Warframe allows you to change your Operator's appearance, so this seems very reasonable.

That hardly seems like a difficult thing to add. But to be honest are we really surprised they haven’t added it yet?

You can just... delete the character and remake them. They'll be 750 light and the only thing you'll have to do over again is the shadowkeep campaign. Give them all your old gear and voila. Granted being able to freely customize a character again sounds less complicated than this but it's all I can suggest.

Yes God yes please I wanted this back in D1, remade my characters so many times even at level 40. Don't care about helmets, you still like to see your character and represent your creativity. Why not? If it's not a big deal, then why not?
-
That and allow us to do missions without a helmet. Hell like every NPC doesnt wear a helmet so why do we have to

So many RPGs let you go back and customize your characters. I'm shocked Bungie has been going for well over 5 years now and has YET to implement this feature. My little brother made my Warlock(Awoken Male) back in 2014 because back then I thought I really only needed to play one character. Still have that Warlock now, and as much as I want to remake my Warlock because I want an Awoken Female Warlock, I don't want to go through the hassle of completing the SK campaign again, and needing to have my inventories clogged up with New Light stuff. Like all they need to do is just put an option in the menu screen before selecting your character for 'Character Edit', that allows you to re-customize your characters.

I bet it was the meeting with the Darkness that made so many players realize they look like a 🤡

why cant i add something as simple as a small beard to my human warlock, or a Unibrow to my Exo Titan seriously facial hair is not a very complicated feature to implement, cmon Bungie
-
There's a useful option: Helmet always on. Look how much time and worry I just saved you!
-
Bungie wants you to make meaningful choices. If you're thinking to yourself "what a crock of shit"... yep.

I know the feeling. My warlock looks like a crackhead. When I bought D1 it was on the 360 and I had a crappy 28 inch lcd tv.... the when I upgraded to an Xbone and a 60” LED tv, good lord I want or vomit whenever I see her, so I now keep the helmet on at all times.... which is sad because my huntress and Titan look fine....
