a global chat would just be so goddamn annoying, there's literally no reason for there to be one.

why? there would be an option for you to leave or ignore it. everyone else who wants one, in a game that's supposedly an MMO, should have one. it was mind boggling this game went so long without text chat but even with it in it's deader than sea of thieves
