Crucible matchmaking is so incompetent that it single handedly ruins the mode.

The most blatant issue is starting a game 2v3, when there was never even a 6th person loading in. It just straight up starts the game before even finding a 6th. Dumbfoundingly stupid mistake, Bungie. Then there's a SBMM, if it even exists, that matches me, with 40 glory, against a team of 3 people above 3500 all with not forgottens, while my teammates are both below 1000 glory. It's definitely not like I have a high ELO considering I've played about 3 comp games this season and probably average a 1.0 KD last season in comp. Bungie, maybe you go back under Activision and have their other studios teach you how to create a matchmaking algorithm. This is absolutely inexcusable this far on in the franchise.

  • I get the same situation happening ill have like over 2000 glory and as soon as i start getting into matches even happened in iron banner ill face a team sniping with revokers and not forgotten or recluses and our team just gets blasted. People dont see that they have snipers so they peek a obvious pathway for a headsnipe and bam teams gone and they will do it again and again till we have like none or 1 life and then we start getting kills but eventually its left down to 1 with the enemy having a few lives and we lose. Im not saying im good at crucible in the slightest but i do try my best especially in comp and facing teams who already have the weapons you have to grind comp for is so stupid because their so op and good i try to get them while getting -blam!-ed over by them especially recluse and notforgotten or lunas howl. I think if you have the pinnacle weapons you should just stop playing comp and let others get the guns so theres a level playing field.
