It goes exactly like, "Thanks for the feedback. I will let the team know you would like to see thing you mentioned. Let me know what other suggestions you have."
-
Look at the help forum then. I'm not sure what else you'd expect the community managers to say.
-
It would actually mean something if they replied with "I gave the team your feedback and this is what they said..." Followed by the dev's actual response, regardless of if it's good news or bad. Instead they just do the same copy/paste reply and there is never any follow up.

Thanks for the feedback, Gus. I’ll let you know if I find anyone who gives a blam. Sincerely, The Team

An example would be cosmo or dmg saying "I'm taking this to the devs", and then "okay I'm back and they were curious about such and such". So on and so forth. That's literally all people want. It's not as though people like screeching into the void. The only reason they do it is because they don't think anyone is actually listening lol.
-
You do know that Cozmo and DMG are community managers right? They're not developers, they're not designers and their entire job is to pass on feedback. So what else would you expect them to say?!?!

It actually feels like a bot. It just finds the subject in question, makes sure it fits into the list of "acceptable subjects to respond to" then pastes the same response. At least they could have added a few different responses with rng choosing which one is used, like the strike and crucible playlists do ... oh, yeah. Hehe. They did.
-
Yeah it's very obvious that its simply a copy and paste job. It doesn't actually give any hint that the said feedback or issue is actually going to get past on in the first place. It could be something that Bungie cant fix or plan to fix in a future patch but we have no clue because we get the same blanket response. Same goes for if you provide feedback, be it constructive criticism or something really positive. It's the same statement, which again doesn't really mean anything. It would literally take the person responding a minute or so to provide an actual response instead of just copying and pasting the same stale PR statement. Doing this would probably also help lower the toxicity levels of this forum. They do it on reddit so why not here?

And what do you want them to do? Tell them exactly when, how and where your exact fix will take place in exactly the way you suggest? No. Sorry bud that isn't how game development work, especially in large teams. There are priorities, there is a pipeline, there are various people involved, there is management, resource allocation and heck, most of the time... get this... YOU'RE WRONG. In game dev you get taught that 90% of the time the consumer doesnt actually know what they want/ how to fix it. They just know how they feel, so you take that feedback and try and address it in a better way. They are community managers, its their job to pass your feedback to the team and present it in a manner that is helpful and makes sense, which can sometimes be hard based on how toxic this forum is.

You got to give cosmo and the other guy "forgot his name as he doesn't post much anymore" credit for not promising things they cannot deliver. If I knew nothing was going to happen then I would most likely reply with a generic BS response as well. Let's be honest, they don't listen. Look at IB. Lame quest line, Same 3 maps, people get upset so Bungie tries to cover with a lie about it being intentional, however just to give the player base one last F U, they put in the very maps they took out as players hate them We have to accept the game the way it is. I'm not saying we shouldn't voice our concerns/complaints, however it is what it is. Let the complaints fly but don't depend on Bungie to EVER make the right decision as they always have one last F U for the community.

Lol this one post cozmo replied he legit said ill let the team know you want shotgun's nerfd 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't really know what you want them to say. The Bungie staff who reply here have the job of liaising between us and the developers, it's not down to them to say what changes are being worked on behind the scenes. That's reserved for the developer notes in the TWABs, better to hear the changes direct from the people who are making them.
