Clearly you don't actually want players to play your content. Why waste my time using an LFG? Umm...LITERALLY just let me match make for 950's. Let ME decide if the lack of communication is an issue and run off to find a team if I feel the need. Stop telling me, "No go make some friends" when matching with players WOULD MAKE ME SOME **** FRIENDS.
You.
Godd**n.
Idiots.
Edit: A lot of people are saying "tHeY cAn'T aDd MaTcHmAkInG bEcAuSe Of MoDiFiErS aNd EqUipMeNt LoCkS!" They can add a requirement to have two different kinds of weapon mods before you're allowed to launch. I thought this would be common sense.
Yet another Edit: Bungie's reply is basically: We don't trust players and don't think they will be able complete 950 Nightfalls because alot of you suck at communicating and have no thumbs and we won't give you a chance to prove otherwise by atleast temporarily adding matchmaking and collecting completion statistics.

Matchmaking is not enabled for activities that require a lot of coordination - including both loadouts and just general teamwork. I'll definitely pass along any feedback that you have on making the higher level Nightfalls have matchmaking though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Couldn’t agree more.. I simply don’t play the activities that don’t allot matchmaking anymore.. the amount of wasted time on lfgs and forums during destiny one turned me off big time.. I loved raiding and doing nightfalls, but man just let us match make. If the team fails and communication is bad... who cares lol..

If wow challenge dungoens can have an LFG so can nightfalls, honest truth is that Bungie is just complacent and lazy about certain things and theres a community of people who defend their decisions for reasons they dont even know. Its actually genuinely kinda funny because everybody whos saying no to this already has friends or a group to do this with and literally this would never effect them. The reason they dont want it, isnt because loadouts or prep or any of that crap this isnt a raid lol its literally because the people who get them done will have 1 less thing to brag about because it will become something that everybody else is doing. Besides who cares about people who may have social anxieties and other issues that make it difficult to speak and interact with other people, video games are for normal people only right?
ooo wait thats right gamers are usually outcasts and nerds well gee would ya look at that
New light literally just dropped and you want matchmaking in nightfalls? Hold up, Jimmy and bob just got the game and want to do thier first nightfall... They jump in clueless wasting experienced people's time while taking 2 hours to finish it.

由KungFu_PowerBean編輯: 10/19/2019 12:25:28 PMi've noticed that bungie fanboys love paying more for less. matchmaking seems to really anger fanboys, for some reason they don't like it if you don't have friends.
-
Simple. Because if you've actually played through a 920 Nightfall with matchmaking....you'd realize that it would take you LESS time to get a team on LFG and play through the 950..... ...than it would take you to try to SLOG through the 950 with a randomly matchmade team. With these new combat mechanics. If you have a team that doesn't have the right loadouts or the right mods equipped. you are basically going to be wasting a lot of time and making for a pretty negative experience for everyone involved.

Because players with low light no mods and afk most of the game expecting a carry will never work.

More than half the playerbase still can't throw a purple ball at their teammates to break the shield on the boss in The Corrupted or on the elevator fight so, if you ever ask why there's no matchmaking just do Blind Well Tier 3 or The Corrupted with blueberries then come back to this post.

I really can't take this post seriously, you had bungies attention but instead of doing something productive with that opportunity, you instead added more salt and toxicity, making your feedback quite frankly, null and void. Ever heard of the saying "you get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar"?

Just go in solo that’s what I did. At your light you will not be able to do anything. I was 950ish and it took so long as I kept running out of ammo. They are just sponges. I did get an exotic though ;) but yea I would not be happy to drop into matchmaking and see your light level. I would prob just leave and try again and I think bungie knows this. Lfg you can see the player you are going to do the activity with and make that call.

由Remi編輯: 10/18/2019 2:00:52 PMYou're not even 950. You are not clearing Legend NF at 934. This entire post is the reason there is no matchmaking for harder content. You would be a HARD carry and would be killed with one hit all day. If you're load outs are not correct even at 960 you're not going to clear the Legend difficulty with a 100k+ score. Matchmaking would end up just like guided games...nobody would use it. It would be a waste of resources to implement. Because at the end of the day people like myself would still use the fireteam finder. Just go and make a group or join one. It takes 2 minutes. You just want to be carried or want the content dumbed down...aka you're lazy. There is no other reason for these type of post...ever. You can spin it any way you want. If you have enough energy to make this post you have enough energy to make or join a group. "They can add a requirement to have two different kinds of weapon mods before you're allowed to launch. I thought this would be common sense." Oh boy.....

Some things never change. There was no viable argument against optional matchmaking for high-level activities when D1 launched in September 2014, and, as this thread shows, there's none now.

由TACtical1Actual編輯: 10/18/2019 2:36:21 PMI agree with all of the points you made. I personally would love to have matchmaking for literally everything with the option to disable the matchmaking feature if desired (for cry babies). Chances are, if someone is disabling the matchmaking feature, it's because they already have a full team. If the matchmaking would take into consideration, Player's PVE K/D, completion percentage and match primarily based on that, it'd be fine. So far, with matchmaking added to 750, 920 nightfalls, I have had nearly 90% success rate. Sure, I end up with a few bad teammates from time to time but that's just life. Too many cry babies creating unnecessary reasons to refrain Bungie from implementing matchmaking where it may be successful. Not all of us have the chance to raid because we don't want to engage in a lengthy process of using LFG and meeting people in game is not as seamless of an experience as Bungie most likely assumes. I also don't fully understand why many players suggest implementing matchmaking for top tier or max difficulty activities is a bad idea. What scenario are they fearful of? Here's a proposed example. 2 People want to try to Duo the 980 nightfall but they are now inconvenienced by the fact that they have to sit through the matchmaking process of adding a third teammate to the group. Who is going to try to Duo the 980 NF? That doesn't even make sense. Bungie's response on the whole "Not Trusting The Player Base" or "Communication or lack Thereof is a big factor" Simply Allow The Option To Disable The Matchmaking Feature For Those Who Prefer To Waste Their Time. Implement matchmaking for everything. EVERYTHING. WITH the option to DISABLE matchmaking for those who wish to spend collective hours of their lives in LFG searching for and dealing with the people you encounter there.
