I just love the fact the red hive sparrow isn't earned in Shadowkeep. Nope. Tess has it. Speaking of, you'd have figured Holliday would have some sort of seasonal relevance, like a few exotic ships or sparrows to grind for. But no. Tess has all of those. Emotes in her store? Fine. Whatever. Armor sets in her store? No. Not when Bungie can't be arsed to make more than ONE new armor set for a MAJOR EXPANSION. The -blam!-ing raid set, the RAID set is a reskin, but boy oh boy, eververse sure got updated. Ships and sparrows? One or tw- wait, there are actually only one or two that are earnable. Silly me. The other 54 of each are exclusive to the cash shop. We got no vendor refresh, one new armor set (looks like trash), and like what, eight exotics? Where is the -blam!-ing loot? Rise of Iron came with more than ten sets of armor for each class. It was made at the tail end of Destiny 1. When most the team was working on Destiny 2. So how in the actual nine levels of hell did Bungie fail to even match half of the loot of Rise of Iron? Imagine being too lazy to reuse Vault of Glass armor, and instead just reuse a set that's already in the game. Ffs, but of course, the cash shop has all the new odds and ends.

The Eververse bullshittery is a major contributing factor towards why I uninstalled the game recently. It just keeps getting greedier and shittier.

They also lowered the overall Bright Dust income. Before you could make around 700 bright dust everyday just by doing the EV bounties. Now it's about 400 every week if you do the weekly bounties, and 10 for each small bounty. So basically Bright Engrams are fewer than before, they cannot give bright dust (unless dust gift, but none from dismantling) and everything cost the same Bright Dust to buy. You could farm 700 bright dust a day easely. Now you need more than a week. So can safely say any bright dust item cost more than 7 times as much as before.

Datto and I fervently disagree. The game is too easy at the moment. Hopefully this is a way to discourage the hordes of casuals clogging up the game. Sometimes I just sit at the back of the map watching the casuals in PVP, Patrol and Strikes thru my sniper scope as they bumble around like children. I’ve made a list consisting of hundreds of gamer tags to block and report.

Hrmmm.... see the issue is Destiny 2 is now a free to play game and players don't have to purchase any of the expansions to have a good time with the game. So they need to make their money somewhere. Do they need to update the game world's loot? Yes, but that will likely take less priority over making money generally because they would likely make vanguard/crucible/gambit new weapons be accessible to everyone since the game changed and they want free-to-play players to feel like they aren't being ignored. (Keeps the playerbase health). All the bright engram stuff... come on. You actually do still get bright engrams every 5 levels now even after hitting lvl 100 and its easier to level up now with bounties. Bright dust costs are basically the same as before and you get more bright dust if you are doing bounties (which you should be doing if you really care about cosmetic items). Now I am going into tin foil hat time. I am betting that Bungie spent many months and most of their dev time working on all the overhauls we are experiencing right now. The changes to nightfalls, the new mod system with armor, champions, and all the new light changes. That takes significant time because that is all PROGRAMMING time and that takes much longer than making a skin. I am in 3d animation, and making a new skin for one item can take a few hours and then I just get the okay from higher ups and I move on to the next one. Complete overhauls and redesigns of core mechanics is a programming and testing aspect that takes LOOOOOOADS more time. It takes at least weeks to get a rough 'draft' of a change and then more days if not weeks to fine tune the changes. Do we need a vendor refresh? YEEES, and keep requesting it from Bungie so we can get it in the future, but if you are complaining that the main game is getting less attention than the eververse store? Its not really when the game itself takes far more time than making a simple skin, in fact I bet there are only a small handful of devs needed on the team for the skins.

Oh no a game with a store that you can optionally purchase from that has no impact upon gameplay. How dare they!

I'm trying to figure out where are all these items we can purchase with bright dust because all I see is that you have to buy silver to purchase 99.99% of the items in Eververse. Edit: The other thing is, Eververse didn't "need" to be in the directory and people are trying to say "Bungie isn't trying to push that Hogwash on the player base" knowing Bungie was fully capable of added something actually useful like more space for the added items in any DLC. Nope, Eververse needs to be in their face. Edit: 1. I can't wait to see this come from Bungie again and the Bungie fans say, "see, Bungie is listening" Barrett said to scale was tipped too far towards Eververse items and they would fix that. It's funny how Bungie went back on their word.

Have they spent a lot of time on Eververse, while ignoring the other Vendors, Yes. While frustrating now, I have faith that bungie has plans, and even though they haven't acknowledged it, they will do something. Bungies spilt from Activison while empowering, left a shoe to be filled. Money. Would you rather have them get that out of the way now, and have a resource, or have Destiny be in worry of finances. The only thing I'm upset about is none of the new Exotic ornaments are being sold this season for bright dust. But that's just cause I want to look badass.
