Instead what has happened is that more people are arguing over a weapon because of a perk, stat or whatever case. Bungie created more complications on this matter rather than simplifying the issue. They should never have been created in the first place. Everything should've been exotic weapon ornaments, cloaks, sparrows, emblems, flaming armor ornaments..etc. Purely cosmetic purposes only. Don't tell me that people would quit playing because NF and LH aren't in the game. People that say that are in fact still playing Destiny 2.
